This time I have used the files from the LaTeX source repository
  http://latex-project.org/svnroot/latex2e-public/

Thus inputenc is updated to version 2014/04/30 v1.2b, which
only prints a warning for encodings utf8, utf8x, ascii, x-ascii
for LuaTeX/XeTeX.
