I am having a strange occurance with listoffigures and listoftables.  The
lof and lot files are being written (and look standard), but nothing is
being put into the DVI file.  Using MikTEX and documentstyle{book}. On
another master file these pages are created.  Thus, the question is, what
can possibly turn off the writing of a list of figures or tables to the
DVI file?
