I agree with J"org Knappen that this discussion of math font issues
should be carried over to math-font-discuss. For that reason I have
just subscribed to that list. The address J"org Knappen mentioned seems
to be wrong. The file

ftp://ftp.cogs.susx.ac.uk/pub/tex/mathfont/discuss/README

gives the address

[log in to unmask]

for subscription requests.

I have heard Frank Mittelbachs request for a more complete implementation
than my basic virtual font one and I am trying to make my work more
complete (although designing complete new alphabets is clearly beyond my
metafont knowledge). Until then I will redirect questions about math font
issues to math-font-discuss.

Regards, Matthias
