* Instead of one source image file (eg. GIF), you will have a lot of files
  after the conversion (PNG for pdfTeX, EPS for dvips, ...).
* You update the source image file, but the other formats already
  exist in an earlier version ...
  So you have to setup and maintain a Makefile or similar thing.
