How amazing:-).  a big public "than you" to you for reporting it in a
useful form via latexbug.tex and [log in to unmask]  Please can
everyone else also do this and not send such queries to this list (or
not just to this list); such cooperation will make our lives much
pleasanter.

No, for two reasons:

--  although June has not finished yet, the June release has just happened
(apologies for not yet formally announcing this);

--  our policy is not to make any fixes that are not absolutely vital
during the weeks coming up to a release when we are testing the code
and updating the dosumentation.  I do not think that I need to explain
the reasons why this is essential to ensuring that the release is as
stable as possible.
