That reminds me of something I'd like to do at some point; it would be  
good if we could add a new target to the Makefile to typeset all of  
the modules and check for errors, to ensure this sort of thing doesn't  
happen as easily.

I've been meaning to look into it for a while, but I've never written  
a Makefile before :)

All in good time, I suppose.
