Yes, and I apologize.  The description of the LATEX-L list's purpose is
quite clear. I can't check the exact wording now but as far as I can
tell it is more of a list where LaTeX development issues are addressed
and certainly not the place for beginners like myself to ask for help.

So I will refrain from asking any more questions here and see if the
texhax is better adapted to my need.

If this makes it to the list, could please somebody acknowledge receipt?

I replied to the last two messages I received but it looks like these
replies never made it to the list.  It would appear something in my
email setup does not play well with this particular mailing list.

Again all apologies for the confusion.
