Following some changes at the 'back end', we have updated the Git
'mirror' of our core SVN available on GitHub:
The new approach to the mirror now works directly from our SVN server
rather than via an additional machine (Will's desktop!). This should
avoid the occasional 'outage' where in the past the mirror has lagged
behind the current SVN. At present, the GitHub version will be updated
once per hour, though we may alter this to work directly after commits
(we are still exploring the best set up approach).
We have also set up a mailing list for those who wish to see diffs for
each commit made: http://tug.org/mailman/listinfo/latex3-commits. This
is of course similar to the information available from GitHub but is
delivered directly to your desktop!
Anyone who has an existing clone of the GitHub mirror is strongly
encouraged to re-clone a fresh one: the changes we've made mean that the
Git 'view' of the repo will show a completely new history (as we have
rebuild the mirror, the hashes used by Git have changed).
