Wrong answer.

Firstly If you started with emacs 18 as I did then you didn't get menus.
well in later versions there was emacstool under sunview which had some
kind of mouse support, but not in the style of emacs 19 and 20.

The right answers are

1) You are not supposed to leave emacs until you power your machine
   down.

2) It is obvious that to leave an editor you type ^X ^C what else would
   it be? that works in all the editors I use.
