I don't fully understand Chris's guidelines for what should be
discussed here, and, therefore, I don't know whether the SGML
plans for LaTeX3 are appropriate here.

I don't understand exactly what Sebastian meant.

Finally, I wonder if we have a clear statement of the homework
problems that may be understood by all.  And could we have a
paragraph or two elaborating on why the homework assignment
is important.
