strange. I use software based on standards every day of my life, and I
don't own any of them. how is your copy of ASCII?

actually, its a lie, i do have a standard, DSSSL. which is freely
available because someone had the nerve to stand up and say that
because it was partly developed using US Govt money, their laws say
that it has to be made available. whether this story is true, I
don't know.
