Consider the following example:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{xparse}

\begin{document}
\ifdefined\includegraphics
  \typeout{Package `graphics' was loaded.}
\fi
\end{document}

Why das xparse load graphics? What is it used for?

Alexander
