Hi Everybody,
I am new (few hours old!) to the LaTex world. Even yesterday did
not know about its existence! But want to put it to my use, as it
is having useful features for my work.

Would anybody guide me how to install it. Step by step guide will
be of great help.I could download directories- base, contrib,
exptl, packages, required etc. But little confused how to go
about?

To start with which sites/books I should consult. What is the most
user friendly book?

Would appreciate for an early reply.

Thank you very much in advance for your kind help.

Prabir
