Yes you're right, I've found a redefinition of '"' somewhere ...

what a pity ;-(

I've tried to get some of my setup work with the new output routine
(/w grid alignment) but it's too difficult for me to define instances
so that everything is working as before. E.g. the fancyhdr style file
doesn't work (it's ignored), or when using two columns I don't know
how to get the headings span columns so that the second column starts
below, etc.etc.pp.
