New in IGCS - Journals (http://www.sino.uni-heidelberg.de/igcs/igjourn.htm):

Hong Kong Journals Online (HKJO)

Ed./Corp.: Hong Kong University Libraries, Hong Kong University, HK, China.
URL.: http://sunzi1.lib.hku.hk/hkjo/
Language: English; some journals in the database are to be searched in
Chinese (traditional).

Supplied note: In an excellent example of how materials can be made
available more widely online in a non-commercial environment, the Special
Collections section of the Hong Kong University Libraries has uploaded a
good range of journals, mainly relating to Hong Kong, but with some having
much broader appeal. H-Asia members will likely be particularly interested
in: The China Review, or notes & queries on the Far East (1872-1901);
Chung Chi Journal (1961-1976); The Hong Kong naturalist: a quarterly
illustrated journal principally for Hong Kong and South China (1930-1941);
New Asia Academic Bulletin (1978-); New Asia Academic Annual (1959-1977);
Journal of the Hong Kong Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society (1961-). These
are all available free online, apparently in their entirety, and can be
searched. [...] - gw.

Self description: Hong Kong Journals Online (HKJO) is a full-text image
database providing access to selected academic and professional journals,
both in English and Chinese, published in Hong Kong. Titles included in this
database cover a wide range of disciplines including law, medicine and
education. [...] Issues included in this database vary from journal to
journal with the earliest going back to 1872. At its first release, more
than 170,000 images from over 40 titles will be accessible on the database.
More titles with permission granted for digitising their full text will be
included to the database. New issues of the titles will also be added as
soon as being received.

Contents: (1) New Search; (2) Browse.

Note: Full-text search is offered but not supported for all journals
