Wenyuange Siku quanshu dianziban = Electronic version of the Siku Quanshu
Hong Kong : Chinese University Press, 1998

We have recently acquired and installed the Siku Quanshu fulltext database
for public use in our library.

The Siku Quanshu ("Complete Texts of the Four Repositories") was compiled
between 1773 and 1782 and contains some 3,460 texts or more than 700 million
characters. The database consists of l82 CD-ROMs, ten of which contain the
searchable fulltext version, the others providing scanned images of the
SKQS.

The database is installed on a dedicated computer in the reference room of
our library. If you
are interested in using this database please see our information on
"Traveling to the Institute for Research Purposes" and "Hiring a Local
Research Assistant" at http://chinaresource.org/access.htm.

For bibliographical details, a user manual and other information please
