Minutes of the BOM (Beetle & Otis Meeting) 16.05.2002 14:00 ASIClab

OTIS:

Jan Knopf reported the results of DNL measurements:
- DNL is ~0.6 bins and independent from pulse width after correction.
- DNL structure reproduces the mismatching of even and odd delay stages
(0.5 and 0.3ns delay). This mismatching dominates the DNL.
- Neglecting the LSB (i.e. looking at every 2nd stage) the structure
vanishes and the DNL becomes ~0.3 bins (of 0.8ns length each).

A test bord for OTIS 1.0 is currently under construction by R. Rusnyak
@PI.

BEETLE:

There will be a meeting on 22.05 @MPIK to prepare an SEU test. The ion
accelerator of MPIK will be used for this.

The layout for a needle probecard for the beetle is ready

Wissenschaftsmarkt:

It is planned to have a demonstration of a HELIX-equiped HERA-B VDS
module with a laser stimulus. I. Abt from MPI Munich meanwhile confirmed
to send us some modules.
Also the poster from our booth at CBIT '99 has surfaced again...

regards

Ulrich
