Description: A weekly news bulletin maintained by a group of Overseas
Chinese in the US, publishing critical comments about current issues in and
about China. Authors are wellknown intellectuals and dissidents from China,
Hong Kong, Taiwan, Europe, and the US, chief editor being Zhang Weiguo,
prominent activist in the 1989 student movement and living in the US since
his release from prison in 1992. As president of ChinaEweekly serves former
Tiananmen activist Yang Jianli (imprisoned since April 2002).
