Dear mailing list subscribers,

A new version of MB (6.84) has been released.

Major changes include:
- Fixed the problem with non-palindromic restriction sites not occurring in
the report
- Improved sequence editor with run-time translation of nucleotide sequence
into three frames, ORF selection and highlighting
- Improvements to the multiple sequence alignment algorithm (including
secondary structure alignment, DND dendrograms calculation, and changes to
the default configuration)
- Restriction profiles (user can use/save custom lists of restriction enzymes)
- Report manager update (plugins)

The link to the download page is:
http://www.molbiosoft.de/html/downloads.htm
Registered users can update the program through the automatic update
feature. Please consider that you do not have to download the restriction
database because the latest version is already included in the main package.

PLEASE NOTE: To keep your current existing restriction site database/seach
profile from being overwritten, you might want to create a backup of the
existing “database” directory.

Full list of changes is available here:
http://www.molbiosoft.de/downloads/changes.txt

Please send any problem reports for the download, installation steps or
requests for beta-testing to [log in to unmask]

Regards,

MB Team
