Dear Colleagues,

currently I am preparing a lecture on Internet resources related to China,
to be held at the ICICE '99 in Taiwan in May 1999. For this purpose I'd
like to know a few details about which WWW sites are believed to be the
most relevant ones and which you use most.

Since I know that most of you have a very crowded time table, this is not a
very elaborate questionnaire. You should be able to answer the four
questions below within a few minutes. Please respond within two weeks of
receiving this mail to

<[log in to unmask]>.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Yours sincerely

Hanno Lecher

Questionnaire:

1. Please list three China/Chinese Studies related Internet resources that
you believe are the most essential ones among the ones you know (title
and/or URL; you may list more or less than three if you prefer).

2. Please list the three China/Chinese Studies related Internet resources
you use most frequently (title and/or URL; you may list more or less than
three if you prefer).

3. Are you aware of any European resources related to China/Chinese Studies
that you believe are of any relevance? If possible, please list the three
most relevant resources (title and/or URL; you may list more or less than
three if you prefer).

4. Did you use any European resources related to China/Chinese Studies
recently? Please list as many as you think appropriate (title and/or URL).

If possible, I'd also like to know your name, institution, and position.
Your data will be handled confidentially and used for statistical purpose
only. The result of this research will be available after May 1999 on the
following URL:
