New in IGCS - Online Bibliographies:

Film and Media Bibliography

Ed./Corp.: Modern Chinese Literature and Culture, Dept. of East Asian
Languages and Literatures, Ohio State Univ., USA
URL: http://www.deall.ohio-state.edu/denton.2/filmbib.htm
Language: English.

Description: Part of the Modern Chinese Literature and Culture (MCLC)
Resource Center this site presents a number of extremely useful
bibliographical hints including articles in film magazines. Bibliographical
notes are divided in historical portions from "early film" to "post
Tiananmen" or focus on filmmakers such as Chen Kaige, Zhang Yimou, Hou
Xiaoxian, Stanley Kwan, Wong Kar-wai, Edward Yang or Zhang Yuan. Also very
useful are the sections "filmscripts", "interviews" or "film theory". The
linkography (termed on-line film resources) is extensive though not always
updated.
