Yes, I didn't run into that problem.  Adobe interpreters are, of course, not
bug free, but compared to the junk clones I have seen
(the recent HP clone in the LaserJet 4000 being a notable exception),
they are amazing.

One of the few real bugs that irritated me in Adobe PS level I interpreters
was the need for base and accent to be in the encoding when using
a composite character constructed using SEAC.  The clones did not
have that bug.
