Description: Establised in 1987 as Chinese edition of AsiaWeek, Yazhou
zhoukan today is part of the HK Ming Pao Group, with a 50% share held by
the big Hong Kong Internet company TOM.COM (TOM.COM is also the owner of
the very popular Chinese portal 163.net). According to a TOM.COM
announcement, the paper "enjoys a worldwide Chinese readership and is
widely read by business executives, senior government officials and opinion
leaders in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China and South East Asia".

Availability: Back issues are available on-line from vol. 15, no. 16 (22
Apr. 2001). Older issues down to vol. 13, no. 1 (3 Jan. 1999) can also be
access using the URL http://www.yzzk.com/yyyynn/yzmain.htm, where yyyy
represents the year (four digits) and nn the number (two digits). No search
possible.
