Many of those competing formats are far worse, especially when
weighted by volume, but might it not be conceded that some are
better for such interchange? \smiley;

Question: Would a reconciliation with FSF and Debian on the "free"
issue make it possible for standard LaTeX to be distributed with more
GNU/Linux systems? Is LPPL obstructing distribution that we would
like to see?
