This is of course not really true: Some mathematicians use WYSIWYG because
they feel TeX is to slow for authoring.
This is a weakness of both TeX and LaTeX: It takes too long to figure out
those details. If one settles down in a well-defined style, it work OK, but
when new to styles, it is a pain.
